XEOMEN

XEOMIN® is a prescription medicine that is injected into muscles and used to improve the look of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows (glabellar lines) in adults for a short period of time (temporary). Similar to other neuromodulators such as Botox, it can also be used “off-label” to treat other muscles or facial/body areas.

Xeomin has no additives, just botulinum toxin type A. This may mean that there is less risk of developing antibodies against Xeomin than other available neurotoxins.  Its onset of action and duration of result are quite similar to Botox but for those who may prefer an alternative to Botox and/or for some reason are not getting as great of a result from Botox as they had been getting, Xeomin is an excellent option.
